Cleaning Vinegar 20%
Sick of buying those bulky plastic jugs full of watered down Vinegar? We have a solution!
Our Cleaning Vinegar is concentrated at 20% (verses the usual 8-10% cleaning vinegar found in most stores) so you can dilute it to your desired consistency and ditch the plastic as it comes in a 500ml bottle or 1 lt jar
Cleaning Vinegar (also known by its proper name Acetic Acid) is a natural occurring, safe chemical great to fight bacterial, polish all kinds of surfaces and use to run through appliances for a deep clean.
Here are some of our uses and dilution recommendations:
Rinse aid for your dishwasher: place a small bowl on top rack (right side up) and add 1/2 cup of water + 2 table spoon vinegar. Run your dishwasher on normal cycle. This will remove hard water deposits and soap scum leaving your dishwasher and dishes shiny + clean!
Odour Eliminator: add 1/2 cup of water + 2 table spoon vinegar to a small open dish and place in your fridge or space needing some odour elimination. You can also spray this directly onto a soft surface and let dry natural (don’t worry the vinegar smell dissipates rather quickly!)
Polishing Stainless Steel, Chrome + Windows: Add 3-5 Tables spoons of vinegar to 500ml bottle then fill with water (distilled or filtered preferably), Spray surfaces and use one of the Mint Cleaning or other microfiber cloth to wipe to remove.
Disinfect Surfaces: Use a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water and wipe or spray on to surface.
Stain remover: Use a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water and spray, soak the area or add directly to your wash of clothes. If using as a spot treatment you can then scrub with our solid soap for a cleaning boost
There are many more uses for vinegar as it’s a versatile and cost effective cleaning agent! If you have a hard time with the smell of vinegar you can add essential oils or even citrus peels to the liquid to help reduce the pungent smell!
