Big Hearts, Big Impact: Our Shop+Share Campaign Report

October was a special month for us at Bare Refillery, and today, I'm super excited to share the heartwarming results of our Shop+Share Campaign. Together with our community and fantastic partner, Jiva Organics, we’ve made a real difference!

🌟269 KG of Goodness for the Surrey Food Bank🌟

Yep, you read that right! We've donated a whopping 269 kilograms of mixed dry goods, canned food, and organic delights to the Surrey Food Bank. Every single item will go towards helping families in Surrey and North Delta.

All through October 2023, we turned your purchases into a force for good. For every item you bought at Bare Refillery, we set aside 500 grams of dry goods for donation. And you guys, our incredible community, also chipped in by bringing canned food donations. The response was nothing short of amazing!!

A Bit About the Surrey Food Bank

Let's take a moment to appreciate the Surrey Food Bank. They don't just feed people; they're also big on connecting people to other community services, helping them become self-sufficient. It's all about inviting, informing, involving, and inspiring the community.

And here’s the kicker: they do all this without core government funding. That's right! It’s all thanks to donations from people like you, organizations, corporations, and fundraising events.

When I arrived at Surrey Food Bank with our donations, a long line of people already waiting to receive food. It's my sincere hope that these donations provide not just nourishment, but also a sense of community support and care to those in need. Let it be a reminder to us all that every act of kindness, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in someone's life.

As we wrap up this post, I just want to say – from the bottom of my heart – thank you. Your generosity and support made a tangible impact. We’re reminded yet again that when we come together, we can do so much good.
